Dr. Yen-yi Juo is a double-board-certified general / bariatric surgeon and obesity physician at Legacy Health Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Juo earned his MD from National Taiwan University, MPH degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed surgery training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Duke University. His clinical and academic interests include obesity treatment, bariatric surgery outcomes, surgical quality improvement, and the development of innovative surgical technologies. Dr. Juo has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications spanning topics from minimally invasive surgical technology development to bariatric surgery outcomes and healthcare delivery research. His work has been presented at national and international scientific meetings.
