Tohru Fukai, MD, Ph.D., is currently Barbara Schnuck Endowed Chair in Translational Medicine, Professor, and Co-director of the Redox Signaling Program, at Vascular Biology Center, Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, USA. His research focus is to study the role of antioxidant enzyme extracellular SOD and its regulator Copper transport proteins in cardiovascular disease.
