Information

Born in 1965, he received MS degree in Biology (1989) and in Physics (1995) at the University of Parma, and a PhD in Physiology at the University of Turin (1999). After a training in cardiac cellular electrophysiology at the CVRTI, University of Utah-USA (1995-1998), and a post-doc at the Physiology Laboratory of the University of Oxford-UK (1999-2001), he entered the University of Parma, where he is presently teaching General Physiology and Electro-physiology, and conducting his research activity. His main interest is in experimental and computational cardiac cellular electro-physiology, with particular focus on the dynamics of cardiac action potential repolarization and its electrotonic and pharmacological modulation.
