Prof. Cesare Indiveri is a Full Professor in Biochemistry at
University of Calabria. He is also a Director of the Institute of Biomembrane,
Bioenergetics and Molecular Biotechnology (IBIOM). Prof. Cesare Indiveri
graduated in Pharmacy (Summa cum laude) from Università di Bari Facoltà di
Farmacia in 1981, then completed his PhD studies in Biochemical Sciences from
Università di Napoli and Bari in 1988. He is an expert in the field of membrane
transporters biology. His work focuses on transporters of nutrients including
amino acids, carnitine, and riboflavin and drug design and screening. He has
published over 190 papers in various journals, cited more than 7000
times, eight books, and been an invited speaker at many congresses.
