Prof. Abbas Rajabifard is the Associate Dean of Sustainability at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. He is an internationally recognized scholar and geospatial engineer and is an active leader in land administration system modernization, sustainability, and resilience. Prof. Rajabifard is also the Director of the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration at the University of Melbourne. He is the lead of the digital twin platform for smart cities and urban analytics. Prof. Rajabifard is a Board Member of the United Nations Academic Network for Global Geospatial Information Management to assist UN Member States in their sustainability. He is also a member of the UN International Advisory Committee for the UN Global Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation Centre.
