Manuel Moreno-Eguilaz received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He is currently with the Motion Control and Industrial Applications Group and is also an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, UPC. His current research interests include power electronics, fault tolerant converters, and hybrid electric vehicles.
