Prof. Dr. Yuanyuan Song is currently a professor and PhD supervisor at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU). She received her bachelor's degree in biotechnology from the College of Life Sciences at Jilin Normal University (JNU) in 2004 and her PhD from the College of Agriculture at South China Agricultural University (SCAU) in 2009. She has been working at FAFU since April 2014. Her research interests include crop physiology, plant-insect interactions, plant-microbe interactions, plant-induced defence and mycorrhizae.
