Giacomina Brunetti received her doctoral degree from the University of Bari in 2004. Currently, she is working as a professor at the Department of Biosciences, Biotechnologies, and the Environment, University of Bari Aldo Moro. Her scientific activity is mainly oriented toward the study of the mechanisms that regulate osteolytic phenomena in various pathologies in the fields of oncology, pediatrics, rheumatology, and dentistry and the mechanisms of cardiovascular disease. Her scientific output includes 127 publications, corresponding to 3953 citations (h-index 38) (Scopus, 28 November 2023).
