Biography

I am a full professor at the FECE, University of Prishtina. My academic research has focused mainly on power electronics, with particular emphasis on voltage source inverters and SPWM/SVPWM modulation strategies, DC-DC converters, and their integration into smart DC grids, as well as vector and scalar control techniques for induction motor drives. Another important direction of my scientific work has been wind energy and photovoltaic systems, including the analysis of wind speed and distribution functions, the assessment of wind potential in Kosovo, and passive/active methods for islanding detection in inverter systems. I have also contributed to the field of biomedical electronics, with work on integrated planar inductors and biomedical signal processing. This research has resulted in more than 25 scientific papers published in international journals and conferences indexed in IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and Web of Science, as well as several scientific monographs in the fields of power electronics and wind energy. My research work is further supported by international cooperation, including the ERASMUS+ project for the modernization of Western Balkan universities, study visits to the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Maribor, as well as current projects on the integration of photovoltaic (PVT) panels and the use of AI in next-generation networks. My mission is to advance scientific research in the field of power electronics and renewable energy.
