Giancarlo Sperlì is a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Naples "Federico II". He obtained his Ph.D. in information technology and electrical engineering at the same university defending his thesis: "Multimedia Social Networks". He is a member of the Pattern analysis and Intelligent Computation for mUltimedia Systems (PICUS) departmental research groups. His main research interests are in the areas of cybersecurity, semantic analysis of multimedia data, and social network analysis. Finally, he has authored about 70 publications in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters.
