Dr. Keishi Yamashita

Keishi Yamashita is a Professor at the Department of Surgery, Kitasato University School of Medicine. He obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Kyushu University Graduate School in 2001. He worked as a Professor of Oncology and was the Chief of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Kitasato University School of Medicine, New Century Medical Development Center, Advanced Surgery Department in 2018. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a councilor of the Japanese Society of Endoscopic Surgery, the Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, and the Japanese Cancer Society. His research interests include gastric adenocarcinoma prognosis, egfr, and epigenetics.
