Jürgen Schiller is currently the leader of a working group at Leipzig University. He completed his PhD in Chemistry at Leipzig University in 1995. Chromatography, mass spectrometry, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization, biochemistry, and phosphatidylcholine are his primary areas of study. His studies deal with areas such as docosahexaenoic acid, proteomics, lipidomics, and fatty acid, as well as chromatography. His research on mass spectrometry tackles topics such as ionization, related to areas like fragmentation. He has 278 publications with 10226 citations and an h-index of 53 (Scopus, 2 November 2023).
