Anna Szurpnicka, M.Sc., is an Assistant at the National Medicines Institute in Warsaw, Poland, where she is involved in the work of the Official Medicines Control Laboratories (OMCL) network coordinated by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), a directorate of the Council of Europe. She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Warsaw. Her professional work focuses on the quality control of medicinal products, while her research interests include natural products, the biological activity of plant-derived compounds, and herbal medicines. She is the author of three articles published in peer-reviewed international journals.
