Dr. Mikael Lassen is a Principal Scientist at the Danish National Metrology Institute, Dansk Fundamental Metrologi A/S. He completed his PhD in quantum optics and quantum communication from the Technical University of Denmark in 2007. He has published more than 80 papers in various journals including PRL, Optica, Nature Physics, Nature Photonics, and Nature Communications. He serves as a Scientific Editor for Scientific Reports and assistant co-chair in the EMN-Q. He served as PI of several national and international research projects within the fields of Raman Spectroscopy, Quantum Communication and Quantum Sensing. His research interests include biosensing, nonlinear frequency conversion, single-photon generation, quantum optics, QKD, quantum sensing, Raman spectroscopy, photo-acoustics spectroscopy.
