Zuzeng Qin is a professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, Guangxi University. He graduated from Guangxi University in 2009 with a doctorate in chemical technology and was awarded the title of professor in 2014. He is mainly engaged in research on environmentally friendly catalytic processes and the synthesis and separation of fine chemicals, including the catalytic conversion of CO2, photocatalytic water decomposition to produce hydrogen, catalytic cinnamon oil conversion, and the preparation of biomass-based porous materials. He is in charge of one National Natural Science Foundation of China's general projects, one Guangxi's major science and technology projects, and one Guangxi Natural Science Foundation key project. He has presided over and completed one Guangxi Outstanding Youth Fund project “Heterogeneous Catalytic Conversion and Enhancement of Carbon Dioxide”, three National Natural Science Foundation projects, one Guangxi key R&D project, and several Guangxi key laboratory projects. His research interests include environmentally friendly catalytic processes, and the separation and synthesis of fine chemicals and natural fine chemicals. He won the third prize in Natural Science Award of Guangxi Science and Technology Award in 2020 and the third prize in the Science and Technology Award (Basic Research Achievement Award) of the Chemical Industry Society of China in 2022.
