I am a pharmacist and early-career researcher from Nepal with research interests in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), infectious diseases, microbiology, antimicrobial use, and rational medicine use. My research experience includes hospital-based studies on antimicrobial prescribing and utilization, formulation development, and laboratory-based microbiological research. My career goal is to build a research career at the intersection of microbiology, infectious diseases, and pharmaceutical research, with growing interests in microbial genetics, host–pathogen interactions, and molecular mechanisms of disease. My mission is to generate evidence-based, impactful research that addresses real-world healthcare challenges, particularly in resource-limited settings, and contributes to improved antimicrobial stewardship, access to medicines, and public health.
