Modern organizations are currently wrestling with strenuous challenges relating to the management of heterogeneous big data, which combines data from various sources and varies in type, format, and content. The heterogeneity of the data makes it difficult to analyze and integrate. This paper presents big data warehousing and federation as viable approaches for handling big data complexity. It discusses their respective advantages and disadvantages as strategies for integrating, managing, and analyzing heterogeneous big data. Data integration is crucial for organizations to manipulate organizational data. Organizations have to weigh the benefits and drawbacks of both data integration approaches to identify the one that responds to their organizational needs and objectives. This paper aw well presents an adequate analysis of these two data integration approaches and identifies challenges associated with the selection of either approach. Thorough understanding and awareness of the merits and demits of these two approaches are crucial for practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers to select the approach that enables them to handle complex data, boost their decision-making process, and best align with their needs and expectations.

Predicting the reading difficulty level of English texts is a critical process for second language education and assessment. Reading difficulty level is concerned with the problem of matching a reader’s proficiency and the appropriate text. The reading difficulty level or readability assessment is the process for predicting the reading grade level required from an input text or document, which corresponds to the reader and to the materials. Students in Jordan at their academic levels find obstacles in finding relevant readable data for any subject at their levels. This paper is intended to introduce a model that foretells the reading difficulty level of a given text in terms of a student's ability to read and understand English as a non-native English speaker in Jordanian schools. In this paper, Jordanian students were classified into four categories according to their knowledge of English. The prediction of the reading difficulty level is achieved by using a modern statistical model that is situated on the Bayes model. The model compares the given text with some standard predefined text that strongly reflects the ability to read and understand English text. The accuracy of the proposed model was tested using the hold-out method. The overall prediction accuracy was 75.9%.

Big Data Analytics (BDA) has evolved from a predominantly technical batch function into a socio-technical capability integrating cloud-native platforms, stream processing, Lakehouse architecture, machine learning operations (MLOps), visualization, governance, and managerial judgment. This paper proposes an integrated BDA decision-making framework developed through a structured conceptual synthesis of research on data platforms, analytical capabilities, decision processes, organizational readiness, technology adoption, governance, and responsible artificial intelligence. The framework comprises seven interconnected stages: data sources, ingestion and integration, storage and platform, processing, analytics and artificial intelligence, visualization and interpretation, and decision, action, and learning. Governance, human oversight, organizational readiness, task characteristics, and continuous feedback influence all stages. Key implementation requirements include data quality, interoperability, security, privacy, scalability, cost, explainability, bias, skills, and sustainability. The proposed configurable reference architecture links technical integration, task–analytics fit, governance assurance, human judgment, and organizational readiness with decision quality and organizational outcomes. Organizational size and maturity, sectoral risk, decision criticality, technological context, and regulatory environment are defined as boundary conditions for future empirical validation.
