Merete Badger is a Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Wind and Energy Systems. She holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Copenhagen and performs research on the application of remote-sensing techniques in wind energy and boundary-layer meteorology, i.e., for wind resource mapping, studies of wind farm wake effects, air-sea gas exchange, and validation of mesoscale models.
