I am a forest engineer and plant physiologist fascinated by adaptations of forest trees to face water restriction. I focus my efforts on characterizing the morphological and physiological adaptations of sclerophyllous species to face drought in Mediterranean-type climates. I am also working on to identify the most water use efficient genotypes of Pinus radiata D. Don by using thermography, physiology and quantitative genetics.
