Mohamed Chikh Essbiti is a PhD candidate in remote sensing at Sultan Moulay Slimane University (FST Béni Mellal, Morocco), within the Data4Earth laboratory. His research combines satellite remote sensing, machine learning, and Google Earth Engine to map Mediterranean forests, monitor forest degradation, and estimate biomass and carbon stocks in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region.
