Gon Sup Kim is a Professor at the Department of
Biochemistry, College of Veterinary Medicine, Gyeongsang National University
(Jinju 52828, Republic of Korea), President of ‘The Korean Society of Clinical Health
Science’ and Vice President of ‘The Korean Society of Veterinary Medicine’. He
is also the Director of ‘Korea National Animal Resource Center (KNARRC)’ and
‘Korea National Animal Bioresource Bank (KNABRB)’, Republic of Korea. He
completed his MS studies in Veterinary Biochemistry at Seoul National
University (1986) and his Ph.D. studies at Seoul National University (1992). He
has published 95 papers with 2751 citations and an h-index of 32 (Scopus, 7
November 2023). His research topics mainly include: cells, cancer, and
apoptosis.
