Prof. Zhaoqiang Chen is Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and professor and Master’s supervisor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Qilu University of Technology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Processes and Equipment in 2002 and his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation in 2005, both from Shenyang University of Technology (SUNYIT). He completed his PhD in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation at Shandong University (SUNYIT) in 2016. His research interests include intelligent and efficient machining technology and equipment, advanced tool design and manufacturing, and micro-nano-manufacturing technology. He serves as Director of the Advanced Metal Cutting Research Branch of the Metal Cutting Tool Technology Association of the China Machinery Industry and is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering.
