Dr. Yassine Slimani is a senior researcher at the Institute for Research and Medical Consultations (IRMC) at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (Saudi Arabia). He completed his Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Applications from the University of Carthage (Tunisia) in 2015. His current research activities include superconductors, advanced nanostructured materials, magnetism, ceramics, magnetoelectric composites, multiferroic materials, dielectric materials, semiconductors, and energy storage systems (supercapacitors, batteries, fuel cells), among others. He is interested in the energy, technological, biological, catalytic, and environmental applications of these materials. Dr. Yassine has published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, has authored or co-authored more than 20 books and book chapters, and owns several U.S. patents for his innovations. He has participated in numerous international and national scientific conferences. Dr. Yassine has also been involved in many international and national research projects. He has been selected as one of the “Top 2% world’s ranking scientists” announced yearly by Stanford University. He has also received several other awards. Dr. Yassine serves as an editor and reviewer for many international projects as well as for many well-known and reputable journals including Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, RSC, MDPI, Bentham, ACS, IEEE, and World Scientific Publishing, among others.
