Saurav Das obtained his Ph.D. degree in Microbial Biotechnology from Assam Agricultural University, Assam, India, and Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. He served as a visiting scientist at the Panhandle Research & Extension Center, University of Nebraska—Lincoln, from 2018 to 2019. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, and since 2022, he has been working as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. His research primarily focuses on benchmarking soil health measurement and management, soil microbes, soil carbon and nitrogen, plant–microbe interactions, and data science. He has published numerous papers in top scientific journals and has presented his work at conferences around the world.
