Dr. Jeoung Soo Lee is the Gilpin MD’82 Distinguished Professor at the Department of Bioengineering, Clemson University. She earned her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Pusan National University, Republic of Korea. Her teaching areas include advanced drug delivery and cellular and molecular analysis in tissue engineering. Her research interests encompass bioengineering, drug delivery, gene therapy, targeting, nanoparticles, biomaterials, and diseases such as colon cancer, Crohn’s disease, colitis, as well as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, regenerative medicine, and tissue engineering.
