Jaime Alberto Bricio-Barrios earned his Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of Colima (2017-20). He currently serves as a Full-Time Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colima, where he also holds the position of Coordinator of the Master's Program in Clinical Nutrition. Additionally, he is a Professor in the Master's Program in Gerontology and a member of the National System of Researchers Level I (Area III: Medicine and Health Sciences; 2022-26). He is a founding member of the Civil Association Development of Aid with Research. With a diverse educational background, he has obtained multiple diplomas and conducted research stays both nationally and internationally. His professional experience includes teaching, private practice as a nutritionist, and participation in research projects. He has actively contributed to human development, training, and professional formation, as well as to the generation of scientific knowledge through numerous publications and conference presentations.
