Serena Petrocchi is a researcher at the Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano, Switzerland). She holds a PhD in Psychology from the Catholic University (Italy). She worked as a post-doctorate researcher Fellow at Keele University (UK), under a Marie Curie action on a project dealing with the role that interpersonal trust between doctors and patients plays in the treatment of children and young people with asthma and diabetes. Her research interests are mainly focused on interpersonal and intra-personal factors affecting psychosocial well-being and health.
