Massimiliano Donati, Ph.D, is a researcher at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa. He obtained a Ph.D in information engineering in 2014, and he received an MS degree in computer engineering from the University of Pisa in 2009. His research interests include digital electronic systems; software for embedded and mobile systems; sensor interfacing and data processing; Internet of things; edge and cloud computing; and artificial intelligence applications in the areas of ambient assisted living, assistive technology, telemedicine, space, and industry.
