Biography
Iva Mrak has graduated at the University IUAV in Venice and received her PhD degree at University of Nova Gorica. She received the international award for the best research doctorate thesis of the University of Naples Federico II and recognition of the rector of University of Rijeka. She had specialized training in environmental evaluation, urban design, museological and universal design. She was a part of award-winning teams in architectural and planning competitions. At University of Rijeka, now associate professor, she created the materials for nine different courses and works on connecting the business and teaching. Major interests are built heritage, decision support systems, inclusive and universal design and quality of human environment.
