Dr. Gurumurthy Hegde works as a professor in the Department of Chemistry, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India. He has wide experience in the area of nanotechnology, liquid crystals, energy storage devices, and supercapacitors. He has published more than 160 high-quality papers with h-index 27 and received more than 60 international awards from USA, Japan, UK, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India. He has more than 20 patents and received more than 2 million USD in grants. Dr. Hegde has guided six PhD students and five MTech students in their respective degrees. He has worked in Hong Kong, Sweden, Malaysia, and India.
