The problem of inflation is crucial for ensuring sustainable economic growth of the country. In the broadest sense, the economic dimension of sustainable development represents the general economic health of the country. Such macroeconomic indicators as unemployment and inflation rates are the main economic indicators of sustainable development. This article discusses the historical aspects of inflation development and the attitudes of economists towards it. The article presents a new approach to inflation and analyses the main reasons for its formation by developing a new analytical model of aggregate inflation. Based on new analytical model, the theoretical analysis of the formation of an economic bubble is provided based on saturation phenomena and its micro and macroeconomic implications are discussed. The main input of this paper is the creation of an extended (detailed) inflation model representing the main drivers of inflation and therefore contributes to the concept of controlled economic growth, which is necessary to ensure sustainable economic growth of the country.

The European Green Deal can be seen as a societal step towards a holistic, all-encompassing approach to climate and environmental challenges. It attempts to integrate environmental policy by bringing together and improving several existing policies, initiatives and funding programs that address sustainability and climate change. This article analyzes the goals and objectives of the European Green Deal, as well as strategies for their implementation. The article establishes that the European Green Course is a long-term process that aims to build a better future for society and its main goal is the creation of a sustainable society. This goal can only be achieved with a holistic, all-encompassing approach. The article also presents a theoretical conceptualization of sustainable finance and establishes that the appropriate distribution of investments and finances can lead to a successful and even transition of society towards sustainability and environmental improvement. Properly used, sustainable finance reduces the risk of societal negativity, which can be caused by the unavoidably high costs. In addition, systematic increases in funding are expected to result in a stable transition of society to sustainability. Although the correlation analysis does not show a direct relationship between sustainable finance for environmental protection and the implementation of the European Green Deal objectives, the research results indicate a strong correlation between the European Green Deal objectives and the allocation of sustainable finance to research and development and renewable energy resource usage. These differing conclusions can be explained by the fact that the allocation of sustainable finance to environmental protection is a much broader area than the other two variables analyzed separately. In addition, 27 EU countries have been ranked according to the effectiveness of their implementation of EGD directives and economic transition to pro-ecological technologies as of 2021. The positions of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have been determined and examined in detail.

The motivation behind the current research is to check the effect of the recent introduction of value added tax (VAT) and Vision 2030 on the economy of Saudi Arabia. To check this, those variables are added to the analysis which contribute to economic development including labor, capital, oil price, financial development, and trade openness to examine that how economic transformation affects the role of these variables in economic growth. According to the vector error correction (VEC) model, the impact of labor becomes negative after VAT, however, the impact of capital and financial development becomes significant by this transformation. The coefficients of oil prices, for positive and negative shocks, are significant and negative. Financial development and trade openness are reporting surprising results; positive shocks have shown negative coefficients. However, after Vision 2030, trade openness has a significant and positive coefficient. Policy implications include diversification of exports, reviving the private financing mechanism and restructuring the export/import policies.

Culture plays an important role in implementing sustainability principles and approaching sustainable development goals across different countries. This paper aims to analyse the relationship between the value created by culture and the implementation of sustainable development goals of countries. The majority of attention in this research is devoted to composing and calculating the integrated cultural value index, which provides clear linkages between value created by culture and sustainable development goals. An expert survey was conducted, during which experts had to assess indicators by ranking them according to importance. There have been 14 indicators included in total to calculate the integrated cultural value index. The values created by culture in the selected Baltic States have been determined by calculating the weight coefficient of each indicator and providing a composite cultural value index. Statistical data analysis unquestionably confirms that cultural input when implementing sustainable development goals is significant, because there exists a very strong positive relationship between the cultural value index and achieved sustainable development goals in all three case studies.

The global climate crisis poses an existential threat to the natural ecosystem and the entire humanity, while new effects (Covid-19, war in Ukraine, etc.) and factors increase the risk to national security and public stability in the EU countries and beyond. The most important global challenge of our time has prompted the formation of climate change management policies around the world; international agreements have been concluded for this purpose. In 2015 the Paris Agreement was signed and the United Nations General Assembly approved the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030. The goal 13 "Take urgent action to combat climate change and its effects" and tasks for the implementation of this goal were established and approved by the EU legal acts. The European Green Deal was initiated to define the EU's vision of creating a climate-neutral economy by 2050. Those interested in climate change and the green course often raise the question of whether everything possible has been done to prevent (stop) or eliminate climate "erosion" processes. To climate change sceptics, these documents or efforts may seem excessive (and expensive), but it is important to determine whether the full-fledged, comprehensive or targeted communication is available in the EU, whether the dissemination of public information about the processes of the green deal is sufficient and what the management of this information entails. This is because information management is one of the most important components of the successful implementation of the Green Deal. The supreme audit institutions of the EU countries conducted assessment of EU countries in preparation for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The assessment of the public's knowledge and understanding of the EU green deal was performed using a uniform, approved and generally accepted control model. The article aims to analyse the role of information management in implementation of the Green Deal in the EU and the US by distinguishing the 2020-2022 period of global COVID-19 pandemic based on a Lithuanian case study.

Encouraging environmentally friendly behaviour in population is one of today's greatest sustainability challenges. Over the last decades, many scientists of environmental psychology, social psychology and behavioural economics studied the dependence of an individual's sustainable behaviour on stratification and various direct and/or indirect factors. External and internal factors determining the individual's behaviour are based on information sources and how, in what way, and at what level the initial data is perceived, as well as how the individual uses such sources. This article conducted in Lithuania aims to find out which information sources an individual is most likely to reach, and what factors would encourage the integration of sustainable natural resource-saving solutions into everyday life.
