I am a physician-scientist and clinical research consultant with over 18 years of experience in vaccine, medicine, and medical device studies across Africa and Europe. I hold an MD from Gabon and a PhD in Tropical Medicine from the University of Amsterdam. My work has included malaria and Ebola vaccine trials in Gabon, COVID-19 clinical trials in France, and clinical investigations of handheld ultrasound devices. As Founder and Principal Consultant at Afya Plus Research, I support clinical research, quality assurance, regulatory strategy, and research capacity strengthening. My interests include infectious diseases, vaccinology, point-of-care ultrasound, and global health, with a particular focus on participant protection and the quality of research in resource-limited settings.
