Valerio Nardone obtained an MD degree from the University of Siena, where he also specialized in Radiotherapy. He obtained also a Master in "Radiotherapy and new drugs" at the University of Brescia. Actually he is working as Assistant Professor (Tenure-track for Associate Professor) at University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli” in Naples. Dr. Nardone’ contribution to radiotherapy and oncology focuses on different disease, such as brain cancer,lung cancer, prostate cancer and gastrointestinal cancer. In particular, in the last years his research has dealt with the application of texture analysis (radiomics) in different clinical contexts. At the same time, he is studying complementary and alternative medicine in oncology, with a focus on medical humanities programs such as music therapy.
