Prof. Miroslawa PAwlyta completed her Ph.D. at the University of Silesia in 2007, her research were focused on carbon black and airborne soot structure investigated by TEM, XRD and Raman spectroscopy. In 2009 she started a postdoc at Silesian University of Technology. Since 2017, she has been employed as a professor. Her work involved: • Materials characterization by advanced analytical TEM methods, to investigate the relationship between materials properties and microstructure; • Structural analysis of carbon materials; • Synthesis, characterization and durability evaluation of nanocatalysts; • Analysis of the degradation phenomena of nanostructural materials.
