Daniel V. Oliveira has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Porto and a PhD Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minho. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Minho. His main research interests are related to the experimental and numerical analysis of traditional and heritage masonry structures, earthquake engineering, repair and strengthening of masonry, earthen construction, vernacular stone heritage, risk analysis and durability. He was listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022, by the University of Stanford (USA) and the Elsevier publishing group.
