Joana Costa is an assistant researcher at the Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry of the Network of Chemistry and Technology (REQUIMTE LAQV/FFUP). She earned her M.Sc. in Quality Control - Water/Food Specialty in 2009 and her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2013, both from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. JC is an expert in food allergen detection and characterisation, food authentication, food bioactive compounds and GMO detection. JC has broad experience in molecular biology, immunochemical assays, in vitro gastrointestinal digestion, cell cultures and chemical assays.
