Prof. Dr. Stefano Gianni received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Rome in 2003. He served as a Visiting Scientist from 2001 to 2003 at the Centre for Protein Engineering, Medical Research Council, UK, then a Research Assistant at the Department of Biochemical Sciences, University of Rome. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Pathology in Italy in 2005. Currently, he is a Full Professor at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Pathology at Sapienza University of Rome. In addition, Prof. Dr. Stefano Gianni is the Editorial Board Member of Life (Editor-in-Chief), Current Opinion in Structural Biology, Biology Direct and Scientific Reports. His research interest lies in understanding the fundamental aspects of protein folding, dynamics, and disorder.
