Tamara Floričić, PhD, is an associate professor of Tourism at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Croatia, Faculty of Economics and Tourism “Dr. Mijo Mirković”. She lectures in courses related to tourism and the hospitality industry. She is an author of many research papers with citations, published in prestigious publications focused on hospitality specialisation, innovations in organisation and marketing in the hospitality business, topics which she also explores in co-authorship books. Her newly published book Contemporary hotel industry – the challenges of new competitiveness explores many hotel industry-related topics and innovations that shape new trends. She is an active reviewer and member of the scientific journal program and editorial boards. Her scientific expertise in the field of the Hospitality industry, combined with more than 15 years of a business career as a marketing manager in an international AHG hotel company, affirms her interest and competencies in research and understanding related to hotel companies. Tamara Floričić is the project manager for two Interreg projects at the University, Project Atlas (2017-2019) and ongoing AdriPromTour, as well as a researcher in two scientific university projects.
