Biography
Dr. Ioannis-Dimosthenis S. Adamakis is an Assistant Professor in Biology at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Biology at School of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2005 and 2013, respectively. During his studies, Dr. Ioannis-Dimosthenis S. Adamakis was awarded with the scholarship program “Heraclitus II”, the German Foundation scholarship DAAD, etc. He has published 79 peer-reviewed articles, receiving more than 1600 citations, with an h-index of 26 (Scopus, March 2024). Moreover, he serves as a review editor for various journals. His research interests include Botany, Cell Biology and Histology.
