The use of technology in tourism is increasing day by day. Service robots are now on the agenda. The success of developments that envisage a new experience for consumer tourists depends on the accurate prediction of tourists' possible attitudes and behaviors and the influencing antecedents. This study examined consumer tourists' attitudes and usage intentions towards service robots on the multidimensional basis of anthropomorphism and technological readiness (TR). A survey was conducted with 1018 tourists in Türkiye face‐to‐face and using QR codes. Findings showed that attitude towards service robots (AR) mediated the relationship between anthropomorphism, technological readiness and intention to use (IS). Participating tourists anthropomorphically focused on the physical appearance of the robots rather than their functions and internal structures. Service robot experience is still limited in the tourism industry. Therefore, the empirical results obtained are guiding theory and practice in terms of academic studies and tourism service providers.

The growing concern for environmental issues has reached a critical level, demanding immediate attention. With the widespread integration of cosmetic products into daily routines, the escalating environmental impact cannot be ignored. Consumers are increasingly scrutinizing the environmental footprint of their purchases and the practices of manufacturing companies. To maintain their competitive edge, businesses must proactively understand and address the evolving needs and expectations of their consumers. This study aims to reveal the relationships between consumers’ environmental values, attitudes toward green products, and green cosmetics purchasing behaviors to guide decision-makers in the cosmetics industry. In addition, the study also evaluated the impact of consumers’ cultural backgrounds on their attitudes toward green products and their purchasing behaviors in the green cosmetics sector. We conducted a comprehensive online survey by collecting primary data from 883 respondents from 10 countries in Asia and Europe. Our analysis used partial least squares (PLS) with SMART PLS to comprehensively examine the interrelationships between variables. An ecocentric orientation positively influences attitudes and purchasing behavior toward green cosmetic products, while an anthropocentric orientation has a negative effect. Additionally, consumers’ attitudes mediate the impact of environmental attitudes on purchasing behavior and counteract the negative effect of anthropocentric attitudes. Cultural differences significantly impact consumers’ attitudes and purchasing behavior for green cosmetics. The study’s findings offer valuable insights for cosmetic companies dealing with growing demand for cosmetic products and environmental awareness. The empirical support for existing literature is significant, and the study’s structural model enriches the green cosmetics literature. It’s essential to consider both consumers and producers for sustainable green cosmetic production, ensuring profitability and encouragement for producers.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought dramatic changes in all the areas of life, and has inflicted many societal costs. The negativities in the field of health and economy are the prominent ones. The whole process significantly affected human behavior, preferences, and priorities. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of COVID-19 on the motivations of international second home tourists (ISHOT). In addition, motivations for buying or renting a second home in the pre-pandemic period, the push and pull factors affecting their decision to stay in a destination, and the emotional experience they had during the pandemic were also interpreted in the study. Qualitative data research method was used with semistructured interview forms. In-depth interviews were conducted with 26 ISHOTs living in Alanya, coastal Turkey. The results proved that there were significant differences between pre-pandemic and postpandemic motivations of ISHOTs for second homes. In the pre-pandemic period, increasing the quality of life, being happy, providing mental health and well-being, emotional relaxation, and getting away from stress were in the frame among the reasons that pushed ISHOTs to acquire second homes. During the pandemic, it was determined that these motivations were replaced by feelings such as anxiety, complaint, protection instinct, uncertainty, and a trust pledge. Low risk, information provision, hygiene, and health system were important reasons that pulled ISHOTs to their second homes during the pandemic process. Insecurity, late intervention, the health system, the risk of being infected, and inadequate precautions were the reasons pushing them away from their home countries.

Healthy eating habits are critical to the health and well-being of future generations. Many people worldwide do not receive enough vitamins and minerals due to malnutrition To eliminate these, it is necessary to determine the factors that support people’s healthy eating habits. This study was conducted to determine the factors that affect healthy eating habits. There are three external factors to the study: (1) being an expert in food and drink, (2) having received formal education in health, and (3) receiving professional support (dietician support) in nutrition. The level of healthy eating was evaluated based on nutritional knowledge, feelings about nutrition, positive eating habits, and poor eating habits. In this context, an online survey was applied to 425 employees in the health sector (202 people) and the food and beverage sector (223 people). The data obtained were analyzed comparatively. The study results showed that the level of nutritional knowledge was equal in both groups. However, it was concluded that food and beverage sector employees were more sensitive to feelings about nutrition, positive eating, and poor eating habits than healthcare sector employees. While food and beverage sector employees are expected to constantly deal with food, which causes desensitization, it has been observed that they are stable and resistant to healthy eating. It has been concluded that although they have not received any formal health training, the information they have obtained through professional support (dietician) accelerates the process of developing healthy eating behaviors. This result has strengthened the power of the education variable affecting healthy nutrition. In addition, sensitivity to healthy nutrition is catalyzed by the professional profession. Dietician support indirectly reinforces this attitude. Thus, it has contributed to the development of healthy nutrition literature.
