György Paragh MD PhD DSc is internist, diabetologist, endocrinologist, cardiologist, and is the head of the Division of Metabolism, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Debrecen. His research interests include the development of atherosclerosis, changes in LDL receptor function in hyperlipoproteinaemias with different origins, therapy of hyperlipoproteinaemia, changes in the lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase activity of patients with hyperlipoproteinaemia, lipoprotein abnormalities and therapy of secondary hyperlipoproteinaemia.
