The disadvantages of the competitiveness formation of Ukraine's economy are identified. Tracking negative and positive trends in the economic sphere, identifying major disadvantages and threats to economic security, identifying prospects is particularly relevant from both scientific and practical points of view. This article examines the key threats to economic development in the context of globalization, long-term impact of which reduces investment attractiveness, competitiveness and prevents sustainable development, which significantly weakens Ukraine's global position. The importance of ensuring the economic security of the state and counteracting corruption threats as a priority area of activity has been proved. The anti-corruption measures of other countries were considered, the impact of threats to the economic security of the state was assessed. It is substantiated that the current conditions for the development of state competitiveness, due to new challenges and threats, need to improve and implement new countermeasures. As a result of the research, recommendations were formulated according to the priorities of institutional transformations and the formation of the state's competitiveness strategy. The experience of the United States and European countries should be adopted by Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in order to build a competitive national economy. The country needs to be rebuilt, to build a sustainable development economy in which there will be no room for outdated corruption rules and laws. Ukraine will join the European Union sooner or later, will have improved trade conditions, investment conditions and resources. Accelerated development of mankind is achieved by the formation of individualization of an enterprise and a man, the disclosure of their growing potential, reputational uniqueness in the process of self-affirmation. These processes must take place in the conditions of sustainable development, natural and social environment that nourish the development of mankind, "grind" communication links, form a new paradigm of competitiveness. Keywords: competitiveness, economic security, competition, corruption, lobbying, bureaucracy, economy, threats, globalization, state regulation, sustainable development.

The role of reporting and statistics as a component of measuring the progress of sustainable development is constantly growing. Economic thought is increasingly based on the concept of wealth - the base of assets, as the foundation of creating well-being and aims to measure it, determine the size of investment attractiveness, and present it in analytical tables and reports as a component of modern business reputation. The approach of the World Bank involves the assessment of wealth according to three components: natural capital, manufactured assets, human assets. It was established that the national statistical methodology refers to the value of national capital: residential, non-residential buildings and structures, land and rights to natural resources, machinery and equipment, cultivated and intangible assets. At the same time, natural and human capital is not fully represented in the national wealth of Ukraine. Therefore, the goal of monetary measurement and capitalization of national wealth is seen as the direction of further development of the theoretical foundations of accounting. Accounting functionality is worth it to be defined as a macroeconomic tool for the capitalization of national wealth. The potential of a business entity, in our opinion, should be considered in the accounting field as a set of resources enterprise, which, depending on the type, is or is not an object of accounting and participates in the formation of the value of the enterprise. The methodological task for the formation of the policy of accounting capitalization is the generalization and certain ordering of the branches of the economy, in relation to which it is necessary to have separate sectoral norms of accounting and statistical reporting. Such a generalization should be based on industry factors that shape the value of products in the industry, the presence of specific accounting objects, principles of adaptation of existing accounting tools for specific business conditions. Economic services and management of enterprises can influence the level of capitalization of the enterprise due to the development of innovative accounting and financial technologies, proper presentation of the natural and economic potential of Ukraine in the global information space.

Directions for ensuring the agricultural sector’s functioning in full-scale war conditions require modern analytical tools. They should be aimed at preserving the chain’s efficiency: “production – processing – storage – supply of food products to the population”. In the conditions of post-war recovery, by EU requirements, it is necessary to provide a digital platform for business analytics and subsequently diversify the development of agricultural production based on sustainable development, environmental friendliness, and circularity, increase the capitalization and investment attractiveness of enterprises, the formation of competitive market institutions, which will involve increasing the efficiency of agricultural production management of resources, strengthening of food security of the state, development of multi-organization, increase of export of goods with higher added value, provision of comfortable living conditions in the countryside. The significance of implementing the EU directive on the proper verification of the sustainable development of agricultural and food enterprises, considering environmental and social standards, cannot be overstated. This directive provides a framework for due Diligence tools, which are crucial for checking the economic activity of a food company and stages of Due Diligence diagnostics, measures for assessing the business reputation of a food company. In the work, a thorough analysis and assessment of the risks that arose during the martial law in Ukraine was carried out, an example of a Due Diligence B2B case is given – the merger of agro-food companies in the agricultural sector. The components of technical, commercial, operational and ESG verification, risk management components, business reputation assessment and predictive modeling of possible future scenarios and financial support and their reflection in the annual sustainable development report are covered. The introduction of the EU Directive on due diligence of the sustainable development of enterprises (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) creates new challenges and opportunities for Ukrainian agri-food companies. To maintain access to the European market and strengthen business reputation, enterprises must implement sustainable development strategies that must meet environmental standards and respect human rights. This will contribute to strengthening their positions in the international arena and increasing competitiveness. Keywords: agro-food sector, sustainable development reporting, European standards, Due Diligence, post-war recovery, environmental standards, social standards, investment attractiveness, risks, business reputation, business analytics.
