Prof. Dr. Anton Maximov has been the head of the Hydrocarbon Chemistry Laboratory of the A.V. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences (TIPS RAS) since 2008. In September 2022, he was elected a member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Maximov graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Chemistry of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1992 and defended his doctoral thesis entitled Supramolecular Metal-Complex Catalytic Systems for Petrochemical Synthesis (Petrochemistry) in 2005. His research interests include hydrogen technologies, gas chemistry, catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide, processing of polymer waste, and renewable raw materials.
