Dr. Mehmet Zahit Yeken has been working as an Associate Professor at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Bolu, Turkey. He received Ph.D. from the Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University in 2021. He participated in a total of 22 projects funded by national organizations and leaded 3 projects funded by TUBITAK and BAIBU. Dr. Yeken has 36 publications and has 4 book chapters on important aspects of agronomy, molecular genetics, and plant breeding in relation to plant species. His research is mainly interested in crop breeding and genetics, agronomy, genetic diversity, molecular markers, gene identification, gene expression with abiotic stress, marker-assisted breeding, germplasm characterization in legumes and cereals.
