Dr. Karl Kingsley is a professor of biomedical sciences and was the former director of student research at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. He received his B.A. and B.B.A. from Mexico State University and a Ph.D. and M.P.H. from the University of Nevada. He has been inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He is also a member of the American Dental Education Association and the American Association for Dental Research. He also served as an adjunct professor at the UNLV School of Medicine. His research focuses on oral cancer and oral epidemiology as well as microbiology and virology in oral infectious diseases.
