Dr. Qizhi Teng is a professor at the College of Electronics and Information Engineering at Sichuan University. She has been teaching at Sichuan University since November 1996. Dr. Qizhi Teng's research interests include digital image processing, pattern recognition, image communication, computer vision, and software engineering. She has made significant contributions to the research on image processing and pattern recognition, and has published a book and numerous papers. She has completed and is currently conducting nearly 30 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Sichuan Province, and National Enterprises. She has received scientific research awards from the State Council and Sichuan Province. Dr. Qizhi Teng is also a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
