Prof. Dr. Qinghua Ye is a professor of the Key Laboratory Tibetan Plateau Earth System, Environment and Resources (TPESER), Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Geography at the Institute of Geographical Sciences & Natural Resources Research, CAS, in 2001 and an MSc in Physical Geography at the College of Population, Resources and Environment at Shandong Normal University in 1998. Her research interests include integrated research on observing changes on the terrestrial surface, e.g., glacier/lake/land cover/landscape changes on TP from space by remote sensing techniques and GIS analysis.
