Recently, healthcare systems integrate the power of deep learning (DL) models with the connectivity and data processing capabilities of the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance the early recognition and diagnosis of disease. Oral cancer diagnosis comprises the detection of cancerous or pre-cancerous abrasions in the oral cavity. Timely identification is essential for successful treatment and enhanced prognosis. Here is an overview of the key aspects of oral cancer diagnosis. One potential benefit of utilizing DL for oral cancer detection is that it analyses huge counts of data fast and accurately, and it could not need clear programming of the rules for recognizing abnormalities. This can create the procedure of detecting oral cancer more effective and efficient. Thus, the study presents an Enhanced Jaya Optimization Algorithm with Deep Learning Based Oral Cancer Classification (EJOADL-OCC) method. The presented EJOADL-OCC method aims to classify and detect the existence of oral cancer accurately and effectively. To accomplish this, the presented EJOADL-OCC method initially exploits median filtering for the noise elimination. Next, the feature vector generation process is performed by the residual network (ResNetv2) model with EJOA as a hyperparameter optimizer. For accurate classification of oral cancer, a continuously restricted Boltzmann machine with a deep belief network (CRBM-DBN) model. The simulated validation of the EJOADL-OCC algorithm is tested by the series of simulations and the outcome demonstrates its supremacy over present DL approaches.

The traditional industries have been transformed by the rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT), leading to a need for real-time data processing and minimal latency. Meeting these demands has been a challenge for centralized cloud computing, resulting in the emergence of edge computing as a viable solution. In this evaluation, we delve into how edge computing improves data processing efficiency, reduces latency, and tackles the obstacles in deploying intelligent IoT applications. We analyze its structure, primary advantages, difficulties, and real-world applications, all supported by tables, graphs, diagrams, and pertinent data.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have revolutionized the processes involved in industrial communication. However, the most important challenge faced by WSN sensors is the presence of limited energy. Multiple research investigations have been conducted so far on how to prolong the energy in WSN. This phenomenon is a result of inability of the network to have battery powered-sensor terminal. Energy-efficient routing on packet flow is a parallel phenomenon to delay nature, whereas the primary energy gets wasted as a result of WSN holes. Energy holes are present in the vicinity of sink and it is an important efficient-routing protocol for WSNs. In order to solve the issues discussed above, an energy-efficient routing protocol is proposed in this study named as Adaptive Route Decision Sink Relocation Protocol using Cluster Head Chain Cycling approach (ARDSR-CHC2H). The proposed method aims at improved communication at sink-inviting routes. At this point, Cluster Head Node (CHN) is selected, since it consumes low energy and permits one node to communicate with others in two groups. The main purpose of the proposed model is to reduce energy consumption and define new interchange technology. A comparison of simulation results demonstrates that the proposed algorithm achieved low cluster creation time, better network error and high Packet Delivery Rate with less network failure.

Precision agriculture relies on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) to support informed decision-making, thereby enhancing crop yields and resource management. A critical challenge in such networks is minimizing the energy consumption of sensor nodes while ensuring reliable data transmission. Sensor nodes are grouped using an optimal multi-objective clustering approach, which also chooses appropriate cluster heads (CH) for effective communication. By combining the exploration power of the Osprey Optimization Algorithm with the exploitation power of the Parrot Optimizer, a hybrid optimization approach improves CH selection. A hybrid deep learning framework, combining a convolutional autoencoder with a dual-key transformer network, is designed to monitor energy utilization and detect constraints affecting consumption. Training and testing performance of this framework is further improved using a metaheuristic based on the cooperative feeding and locomotion behavior of gooseneck barnacles. Experimental evaluation demonstrates superior performance, achieving 99.2% accuracy, 68 kbps throughput, 98% packet delivery ratio, and a network lifetime of 85 ms. With an average delay of 0.23 seconds, energy consumption is decreased to 39 J, demonstrating the effectiveness of the suggested strategy for dependable and sustainable precision agriculture applications.
