Biography
Marisa Freitas obtained her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto (FFUP) in 2010. Marisa Freitas is currently a Research Assistant at LAQV/REQUIMTE. Her research interests lie in the development and application of in vitro and in vivo methodologies for the study of the biological activities of polyphenols.
