Prof. Guiyang Xin received a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the China University of Geosciences in 2012 and a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Central South University in 2018. From November 2021 to March 2023, he was an associate professor at the School of Optical Instruments, Dalian University of Technology. Since April 2023, he has been an associate professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. His research interests mainly include legged robotics, model-based control, dynamic modeling, and optimal control.
